Your Custom Kitchen Procedure

First we gather information about design and size. The customer can email us a sketch or blue print of the floor plan layout. We then draw 1-3 plans with different design options customized to your home. We also send 3-D visuals/drawings with a rough estimate of the cost. See a sample of the 3D visuals we provide.

Approximately a 5% deposit/down payment is expected before additional designing and drawing. (If customer decides not to purchase from Scenic View Woodworking, that payment covers the design/drawing fee.) After the deposit is recieved, designing and drawing will continue. We can come to your location, or you can come to our shop to communicate details and options. Depending on the complexity of design and/or number of different drawings needed, an additional design fee may be required.

Blue Prints

We come to your home or building site and take measurements for the blueprints. (Framing will need to be up before we can get final measurements.)

When design and details are all satisfactory, we prepare the Drawings Specification Sheet, and the Proposal for the customer to look over, confirm, and sign. At the signing of the Proposal a deposit of 50% may be asked.
The Proposal will state the estimated completion date. The time from signing the Proposal until completion will vary depending on our current work load.

After Proposal and proper deposit, we will assume we have your approval to order supplies and begin construction. (In new construction, if framing is not yet completed we may need to wait to start building the cabinets until after final measurements.) Any changes or addtitions after Proposal is signed may incur additional fees.

After the cabinets are built, another deposit may be required before delivery and installation. Special care will be given to protect your home during the installation process.
